One-and-a-half year old Jai Bhimani is curious about his mother's Indian specialties. Mr. and Mrs. Bhupendrakumar Bhimani moved into their home at 1129 Arella Blvd. two months ago from Schenectady, N. Y. Mrs. Bhimani, because her religion forbids eating any meat, is restricted to recipes consisting of vegetarian elements. Her family's favorites are Pilau, a main dish made with vegetables, nuts and rice, and Bhajia, a type of fritter dipped in chick pea flour and spices and deep fried in oil.
