The westward movement into the wild west by buckboard was portrayed in a nine-act circus put on by youngsters of the 1500 block on Broadway yesterday. They are (left to right) Harold Stafford, Brent and Diane Schauer and Gerald Stafford. Danny and Mike Rice also took part in the show. Receipts totaling $9.78 was to go to the Muscular Dystrophy Appeal Fund.

Irvin L. Bingham of Milan, a 15-year-old victim of muscular dystrophy, was given a $20 Christmas tree last night by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Sabbath school members pooled funds they usually spend for exchange of presents to trim the tree. The congregation also gave $40 to help buy a Porto-Lift machine to help Irvin get around. Shown (left to right) are James Lee Oliver, Marjorie Ann Young, Joyce Ilene Warden, Miss Dorothea Williams, Irvin, Gerald Ray French, Thomas B. Sadler (handing gift of books) and Barbara Beaven.
