The Potters' Guild display, one of the first to be assembled, drew much of the early crowd at the opening of the Street Art Fair. The threat of rain delayed many cloud-watching exhibitors from setting out their wares before mid-morning, but throngs of spectators and shoppers were out with the sun. The S. University-E. University event annually draws tens of thousands of visitors, many from out of state. The merchants' Summer Bargain Days will run concurrently throughout Ann Arbor, both affairs ending Saturday. Forecasters are promising better weather.
