NEW LUTHERAN SCHOOL: Construction on this four-classroom school by St. Paul's Lutheran Church Missouri Synod will begin about March 1. The firm of Colvin, Robinson, Wright & Associates was engaged to design the school which will be built on a 10-acre site on the Concordia Lutheran Junior College land. Cost of the school, which is expected to be ready for classes next fall, will be about $190,000. The unit will house a kindergarten and grades one through four.

Lutherans Meet For Convention Delegates meet for session of the 86th convention of the Michigan District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod at Concordia Lutheran Junior College here. Delegates adopted a resolution declaring membership in Evangelical Lutherans in Mission, a moderate faction within the Synod, to be a "conflict of interest" for Synod members. But in another action this week, the convention adopted a resolution calling for establishment of groups to work out differences which have divided the Synod. District headquarters is in Ann Arbor and there are eight Synod congregations in Washtenaw County.
