About 400 UAW-CIO pickets paraded in front of the strike-torn Clinton Machine Co. early this morning, bearing American flags and union banners, while about 125 non-striking workers ate their breakfasts inside the plant gates undisturbed except for occasional heckling shouts.

SHARING KING'S DREAM - An estimated 300 to 500 persons, mostly students and teachers from the Ann Arbor Public Schools, gathered at Liberty Plaza Thursday afternoon for a Unity Parade commemorating the birthday of the late Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. The parade, sponsored by the city's public schools, went west on Liberty Street, then turned south on Main Street and continued to Pioneer High School. Ann Arbor students were given the afternoon off in honor of King's birthday.
