BORED HERO: Homer, the University's research dog who made medical history when his left lung was replaced with the lung of another dog last May, manages a bored yawn at ceremonies here yesterday in which he received state and national decorations for his services to mankind. Dr. Charles J. Tupper (left), associate dean of the U-M Medical School, presented the dog hero with a medal from the National Society for Medical Research, while Charles H. Baker (right), president of the Michigan Tuberculosis and Respiratory Disease Association, hung the association's medal around his neck. Dr. Paulette S.
