KIWANIS SALE OPENS: Ypsilanti Kiwanians opened their annual three-day rummage sale shortly after 8 a.m. today. Items ranging from clothing to furniture, implements and foodstuffs were being offered. Proceeds from the sale will go into the Kiwanis fund for work with underprivileged children. Evertt C. (Eddie) Edwards is chairman of the sale, which will be open until 8 p.m. today, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow and from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Last year's sale netted the Kiwanians some $1,800.

Rummage Sale Planned A small gerbil is the center of attention for, from the left, Evelyn Vance, Michael Richards and Dana McKelvey. Gerbils, along with many other items, will be featured at the annual rummage and bake sale of the Women's Association of the Calvary United Presbyterian Church. The sale is scheduled to take place between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, 2727 Fernwood. Chairmen of the event are Mrs. Donald Darr, Mrs. James Richards and Mrs. Larry McKelvey.
