Gary, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bickley, took part in the contest as a part of the special activities sponsored by the department each Friday afternoon. Another once-a-week program planned for the youngsters is day camp when the entire playground boards a bus and heads for the beach under the direction of playground leaders.
