Field Day At Ypsilanti: Children from all five playgrounds which participated in the summer recreation program at Ypsilanti joined together for a Field Day yesterday at Recreation Park. The program included races, broad jumps, baseball throw, table tennis, checkers, badminton and baseball. All-Parks Field Day: A field day for champions of four Ypsilanti city parks was held yesterday at Recreation Park to pick city champions. The children competed in a number of events in the field day, sponsored by the Ypsilanti Recreation Department. This race, a 50-yard dash for boys 10 and under, had to be rerun because some of the contestants started too soon. The event was to have been held Wednesday but was delayed because of rain.
