Giving The Peace Mrs. John Monroe (center) is giving peace to Sister Mary Jenifer, a scene which will be reenacted Friday by all persons attending World Day of Prayer services. Mrs. Richard E. Crusius (left) is local chairman of the world prayer day which is sponsored by United Church Women. Mrs. Monroe is chairman of United Church Women's Christian World Missions Department, and Sister Mary Jenifer is representing the Catholic churches. This is a form of giving peace that is used in the Church of South India and in other Eastern churches.
