Although the photographer didn't get close enough to check, it's a good bet they came up with the best smelling one. Their parents are Mr. and Mrs. Daniel F. Jahnke, 3121 Dexter Rd.

Reuben (Rue) Rose of 1472 South Blvd. came across this 47-year-old Valentine the other day and made plans to show it to the person who gave it to him, Mrs. Lucille Cahow of 4260 Washtenaw Rd. The News got them together in front of a camera (below). Mrs. Cahow, then Lucille Wilkinson, gave Rose the card in 1914 in the former Eberbach School, now the headquarters of the public schools' administrative offices.
