An Ann Arbor landmark, the Cutting Apartment Building at S. State and Monroe Sts., is being torn down this week to make way for another University parking lot. Bought by the U-M on May 13, 1960, the property will eventually be used, however, for expansion of the Law School facilities when funds are available for building, according to long-range plans. The three-story brick building contained 20 apartment units.
