Who Will Be Queen? Who will be the queen of Huron High's Homecoming festivities this coming weekend? The big announcement will be made Friday evening during the football game against Battle Creek Lakeview High. In the running are these nine beauties, who posed for our photographer this week on the steps of their new high school. The girls are (top to bottom): sophomores Angie Barr, Carolyn Krupp and Alene Green; juniors Sue Long, Peggy Reinhart and Ruth Bartman, and seniors Dale Seisemeyer, Karen Lands and Patty Harrell. Here is the Snow Queen and court of Huron High School's "Winter Carnival" festivities, held this week at the high school in place of Homecoming activities. The girls are (from left) sophomore Jayne Payne; seniors Sue Wikel, Faith Mitchell, and Barbara Patton; sophomore Sue Long, and juniors Sue Porter, Florence Anthony and Barbara Sweet. Miss Mitchell was chosen as the Snow Queen Thursday, and reigned over Saturday's dance.
