Ypsilanti guard Andrew Lockett (right) maneuvers around Pioneer's Tony Hadley during the Braves' 80-54 win Friday in the South Central Conference opener for both schools. Lockett scored a basket off the bench for Ypsilanti, but the big Brave scorers were Steve Patton (23 points) and Terrence Maxey (20). Jimar Eddins lead Pioneer with 15 points.
