Center's Founders Mr. and Mrs. Jack Shropshire, founders of the Sumpter Clothing Center in Sumpter Township near Belleville, go over some paper work at the center. The center, a non-profit charity, established in 1967, provides needy families with free clothing, canned food, furniture and other items. More than 250 families have been helped.
