BELIEVE IT OR NOT, THEY'RE RABBITS: These four Ann Arbor men came back from a hunting trip into Canada Thursday with a dozen Canadian Jacks, 11 of which are shown above. One was given away before the picture was taken. The rabbits weighed about eight pounds each, and the total bag was more than 100 pounds. The hunters standing, from left to right, are: Robert Langford, Otto W. Haisley and George W. Langford. Kneeling is Paul L. Proud.

The top picture was taken in the refrigerator vault of the Artificial Ice & Coal Co. The bear on the cold bed was shot by A. K. Moore, of Dearborn, and the coyote at the end of the line was taken by Ray Jacox, of Belleville. Just a few of the more than 50 deer shot by local hunters and held in cold storage at the time the picture was taken are included in this photo.

The moving target flashes across a space of 36 yards in seven seconds. The range will be operated again tomorrow, and shooting is open to the general public.
