Awaiting Huron Homecoming Huron High School's 1971 Homecoming Court is awaiting the big day Friday, when the Homecoming game against Lansing Everett High School will be played. The game, to begin at 8 p.m. at Hollway Field, will be preceded by a parade at 7 p.m. Members of the court are (top to bottom) Diane Stone, 15, and Cathy Allum, 15, both sophomores; Sandy Heinemann and Karen Barhoff, both 16 years old and juniors at Huron, and Ellen Pullen, Karen Shipman and Jenny Vogel, seniors and all 17 years of age. The queen will be announced and crowned at halftime.

Shmina and Sons Construction Co., and three members of the Board of Education -- Dr. Harold J. Lockett, President Hazen J. Schumacher, and Mrs. Frances Felbeck. The new school, on Fuller Rd. near its intersection with Geddes, is expected to be ready for occupancy by Sept. 1, 1968.
