Big Success: This amaryllis plant in the home of Mrs. Nina Young, 2873 Kimberly Rd., Pittsfield township, has reached a height of 4 feet, usual for a plant of this kind. It bears bright red "lilies" and has been in bloom for several days.

Collecting Greens Two Ann Arbor Garden Club members are gathering materials for fall arrangements of the type that will be demonstrated by Eric Koernke when he speaks on "Arrangements for Festive Occasions" at 1:30 p.m. next Wednesday in the Michigan Union Ballroom. Mrs. Nina Young (left) clips greens while Mrs. Ernest Merlanti holds a basket of other decorating materials. The Garden Club is sponsoring Koernke's program. Proceeds from the event will be used for horticultural projects.
