THE WORST DAMAGE: This is what was left of the home of Mr. and Mrs. Karl R. Guthe of 845 Brookwood Pl. after a gas explosion set it afire at the height of yesterday's storm. A tree in front of the house was blown over and its roots snapped a gas main leading into the house. Luckily, no one was in the house at the time of the blast.
