HOT OFF THE PRESS: Publishing a monthly magazine seems to be a serious business, judging from the facial expressions of these youthful journalists. Assembling the Eberbach School publication are (from left to right) Jane Phipps, David Couper, William Thompson, Jack Dirkse, Eddie Hirshman, Clinton Castor, Tom Wanzeck, John Kenne, and Joyce Curtis. They are members of the school magazine committee, which represents the third, fourth, fifth and sixth grades. This committee is only one of several at the school through which pupils not only learn specific school lessons but also obtain first hand experience in working and cooperating with others. About 30 are on the magazine committee, providing a representative cross-section of the student body.
