REFRESHING IMPRESSIONS: Artist Ruby Churchill views a water color she painted of Michigan after she returned from a trip West. The abstract, in tones of green, is the refreshing impression of the state on Mrs. Churchill after traveling through a hot, dry climate. Mrs. Churchill, pictured in the studio of her home at 1704 Hermitage Rd., has exhibited her works extensively throughout the state. She is currently showing at the Scarab Club's 18th Annual Watercolor Exhibition in Detroit, and has several of her older paintings for sale at the Ann Arbor Art Association's annual Christmas sale in the Rackham Galleries.
