PLAY IN STATE TOURNAMENT TODAY: Edwards Brothers, who won the girls' city softball championship recently, will compete in the state tournament at Lansing today against the Remington Rand ten of Benton Harbor. If victorious today, Edwards will swing into action again Sunday afternoon at Ranney park against the survivor of games between three teams, Peter Pan of Lansing, Mutal Drugs of Niles, and Holt Recorders. The contest will start at 1 o'clock. Standing in the above picture, left to right, are Coach Tommy Ingram, Hazel Engels, Mildred Smith, Ruth Carstens, Lorreta Schlimmer, Esther Carstens, Evelyn Barnes, Helen Hickey, Helen Pegan and Coach Ned Hickey.
