Funny Face. It's just a pumpkin. But the spooky looking face and Halloween lore are new and intriguing for most children at the Friendship International Nursery School at 1679 Broadway, Ann Arbor. More than half the youngsters there are from foreign lands.

BETTER THAN RECESS: Neither rain nor cold can dampen the spirits of nursery school pupils when a field trip is scheduled....especially when it is to as exciting a place as Wagner Cider Mill in Dexter with its large presses and barrels of tempting cider. The children of the Unitarian Day Nursery aren't going to miss a thing in watching the bushels of apples turn into delicious cider. Their teacher, Mrs. David Lian, was assisted by Mrs. Ernest Sellers, Mrs. Jack Klineart and Mrs. Robert Marshall.
