STAR OF GIRLS' LEAGUE: Bessie Gagalis, above, will be stationed at shortstop for the Pfeiffer girls tomorrow night at Wines Field when the team clashes with Edwards Brothers in the first game of a play-off series to decide the girls' city softball championship. Bessie may also take her turn on the pitcher's mound if the Edwards girls find Katie Wares' windmill offerings to their liking.
