SALINE DOG AT HOME IN CLASSROOM: Merritt Martin's dog Blackie looks pretty intelligent in this picture taken in the second-grade room of the Saline schools. She has been going to school for more than a year, and she has the privileges of regular puils including a desk next to her master. She sits up like this for awhile every morning, lies down when she is tired and is lulled to sleep during the music lesson. She never makes a disturbance in the classoom.
