'Living God's Love' Children attending vacation church school this week at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church here have been bringing offerings for Operation Cross Roads, a program of assistance to American Indians operating out of Ausustana Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, Minn. Theme of the vacation church school is "Living God's Love." Operation Cross Roads ministers to American Indians who migrate to Minneapolis from reservations in northern Minnesota and the Dakotas. Couple Honored Mr. and Mrs. John W. Sedlander are being honored as "Church Couple of the Month" by the Ann Arbor Kiwanis Eastern. Jean and John are co-chairman of the youth committee of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. They have directed plays given by the high school young people for the State Convention of Lutheran Church Women of Michigan and for worship services at Trinity. Members of the Senior Choir, they have also recently been assisting in the folk sing service by playing the balalaika and recorder. Jean graduated from the University of Wisconsin. John will receive his MA in Business Administration from U-M this spring.

'Christmas In May' Christmas is something more than decorated trees and Santa Claus to these children from Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Last December the children acted out and celebrated the spirit of the holiday by visiting senior and shut-in members of the congregation. This spring the children are re-visiting the same people in the same spirit of Christmas.
