Proposed 30-Store Shopping Center Site - Outlined are 25 acres included in the planned site of the 30-store Arborland Shopping Center. The land is on the north side of Washtenaw Ave. a short distance east of Chalmers Dr. Visible on the other side of Washtenaw are a supermarket, Yost Blvd., a service station, drive-in restaurant and the northern edge of Pittsfield Park Subdivision. The west line of the shopping center site cuts through barns on the Edwin W. Steeb farm. Mr. and Mrs. Steeb own the land, on which a purchase option has been obtained.
