'M' FLAG GOING TO TOSE BOWL: Cal Didier, drum major for the band and Miss Arlene Repp, a student from Niles, hold up the 'M' flag that Didier will flaunt in the Rose Bowl when the band makes its appearance at the Michigan-Southern California game New Year's Day. The drum major, who is from Flint, is shown just before he boarded the train with the band for the trip to the West Coast.
