Salvage crews remove equipment and records from the Ann Arbor School Administration Building, 1220 Wells, which was heavily damaged by a fire early Sunday. According to Supt. R. Bruce McPherson a substantial quantity of financial records and other important data has already been retrieved from the building, and other material will be removed after the remains of the roof have been taken off to assure safety of the work crews.

FIGHTING METAL FROM OLD SHIP: In their hands Tommy Dudley, son of Clare B. Dudley, 4 Marshall Ct., and Miss Mabel Train, 1423 S. University Ave., hold a piece of copper believed to be from the original copper sheating on the hull of Old Ironsides. Miss Train, owner of the relic, donated it to the Perry school scrap pile. Tommy accepted it as captain of the school's safety patrol, which has been active in the salvage campaign.
