Stones mark the graves of the township's first settlers. The non-denominational church for which the cemetery is named was razed 20 years ago, but the cemetery remains.

The mini cowboys are sons of Mr. and Mrs. Jack T. Phillips of 8525 Geddes., Superior Township. The boys were blue ribbons winners in a recent 4-H talent contest but they wont be able to complete in the state 4-H show to be held in East Lansing in August because they are too young. Participants in the state show must be at least 12 years old."
