TO WOO OR NOT TO WOO?: That old tradition that during Leap Year a member of the fairer sex has the right to ask the John Doakes of her choice if he will marry her was debated last night by these University students. The coeds, taking the affirmative, thought the tradition was fine and ought to be extended so that a lassie has the initiative in deciding when to be kissed. The debaters are, left to right, I. Alfred Breckler, a sophomore, of New Rochelle N. Y.; Adelaide L. Carter, a sophomore, Ann Arbor; Edith A. Evans, a junior, Ann Arbor; Andrew F. Caughey, a freshman, Detroit; Mildred A. Ward, a junior, Saginaw, and Richard K. Meinke, a freshman, Detroit.
