This interior of the Schneider Floor Coverings, a new business in a new building at 703 S. Main St., depicts the line of goods, which ranges from carpets through tiles. Owned by Louis P. Schneider with a son, Eugene, an associate, the business is holding its formal opening through today. The owner is a former Ann Arbor man who left the city 27 years ago. He has owned floor covering firms at Alma, Mt. Pleasant and Greenville.
