To Make England Even Merrier: Members of Eberwhite School's Junior Red Cross Council package Christmas toys for shipment to youngsters at the Marlboro Rd. primary school at Salford, England, as Miss Lillian Moore (extreme left,) an exchange teacher from that school, assists. Mrs. Margaret Matteson, an Eberwhite teacher, is teaching the fourth grade at the English school. Looking on as the gifts are placed in a Christmas stocking is Betsy Scher (second from left), a teacher at Eberwhite, and (left to right) Gerald Gibson, 10, Louise Bell, 10, and Sherrie Omerso, 7. The gifts were bought with donations made by Junior Red Cross members.

I Serve Is Their Motto - St. Thomas Catholic school pupils proud of their record of 100 per cent enrollment in the Junior Red Cross gathered around the school nurse, Miss Madeline Kunna, as they received their Red Cross emblems. Their school was the first to enroll 100 per cent.
