Caption:
Up in the air over his new school outfit is Steven O'Neal, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William O'Neal of 1615 Pear Street. He wears corduroy pants in the new "thick 'n thin" wale, color-matched with a ribbed turtleneck sweater. Sporting the fall look on the ground are Connie and Chris Jahnke, twin children of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Jahnke of 3121 Dexter Road. Connie wears the mini-version of the elongated sweater dress in gold with green edging and the new tassled kilt socks. Her brother is quite the young man in his mid-wale corduroy slacks, and a knit turtleneck shirt with the V-insert effect. Steven will enter second grade at Northside Elementary, while the twins will be second graders at St. Thomas School. The scene is the University's Diagonal on central campus.
