Miss Carol Schroeder, a teacher of the hearing handicapped for the Washtenaw Intermediate School District, helps little Ann Jackson with her pronunciation. Ann participated this summer in a program for children age 3 to 11 at George Elementary School in Ypsilanti. All programs for the hearing handicapped children in Washtenaw County are coordinated by the Intermediate School District.
