Cows Graze Near Joy Road In Webster Township, July 1956

A COUNTRYSIDE AT PEACE: Perhaps no single picture could better typify pastoral Webster township than this scene along Joy Rd. between Jennings and Webster Church Rds. The herd of cattle grazing on lush green pasture symbolizes dairying, the township's biggest "industry," while the cultivated fields with a backdrop of rolling, wooded hills are likewise typical of the township in which the farmer is "king."
