GLASS SHATTERED: Dozens of glass panes were broken out at the old Hoover Ball & Bearing plant, now owned by the University. The piece of plywood (top) was jammed into the window by the savage force of the wind.

Stained Church Windows Broken: Three teenaged boys throwing stones wrecked this stained-glass window scene of Christ as a Shepherd at Ypsilanti's Emmanuel Lutheran Church. They also broke about 10 other panes in another stained-glass window. The youths, who gave no reasons for their actions, were arrested yesterday and will be turned over to county juvenile authorities.

From The Old To The New: The sure touch of the Rev. Charles G. Morse is needed for the repair of stained glass windows, salvaged from old church buildings to let in the light for the new Central Boulevard Baptist Church. The stone building will be erected by volunteer labor on the site at Central Blvd. and Oakdale St. The Rev. Mr. Morse lives at 952 Washtenaw Ave., Ypsilanti.
