'RADIO DRAWING, 1962': This "radio drawing" by Jean Tinguely, currently on exhibit at the U-M Museum of Art, combines visual and aural elements in a four-dimensional work of "pop art." The two FM radio receivers at top send a shifting pattern of words and sounds through the two speakers as they are tuned in repetitious random patterns by the large motor at the bottom. The smaller motor above the tuning motor powers a revolving green disc.
