Activates Research Park: Mayor Cecil O. Creal (seated) signs an option agreement to permit the city to install utilities to and in a 210-acre research park. Looking on (left to right) are Thomas L. Dickinson, co-chairman of the Ann Arbor Chamber of Commerce's Economic Development Committee, and City Clerk Fred J. Looker and Lawrence H. Ouimet, the committee's other co-chairman. Development of the park with research-oriented industry is expected to begin in the spring, Dickinson said. Installation of the utility lines will be scheduled so that they will be available when the park is ready for use, City Administrator Guy C. Larcom, jr., said today.
