Providing a broad base of new experiences is one of the goals of Project Headstart. Here the children are obviously fascinated with guinea pigs donated for the summer by Mrs. Susan Wei, a Headstart teacher. The children from left are Susi Maclean, Sherry Sheppard, Barbara Juide, Jeremy Bandrofchek, Eric Santifer and Alonzo Dunagan. The pigs are Squeezy and Joey. Washtenaw's Headstart Program for this summer ended today.
