HOME INTERIOR DESTROYED: As Ann Arbor firemen fought a drug store blaze this morning, a second erupted in a dwelling at 115 Miller Ave. Heavy clouds of thick, oily-looking smoke hampered early efforts of firemen to confine the fire to the rear of the house. Firemen poured water into the structure for almost two hours before they could enter it. Damage could not be estimated. (Pictures of an Ypsilanti gasoline station fire are on page 8.)
