The murals, designed by former student Curt Shoultz, depict the school's outreach to the urban community (above) and to nature. The 6 foot by 8 foot murals, clearly visible from Fifth Avenue, are intended as a community landmark, according to Dean Connie Craft.

GRADUATION — Community High school faculty members follow juggler Matt Mender who leads the way to commencement exercises Monday. The alternative high school granted diplomas to 100 students in ceremonies at the Bethlehem United Church of Christ. Community High students usually graduate without the caps, gowns and pomp of the traditional high schools.
