Construction Begins Here On Chapel: Excavation has begun at Washtenaw and Forest Aves. where a $75,000 Students Evangelical Chapel is being built by the Christian Reformed Church. The building will house a sanctuary seating 270 persons and will contain rooms for social functions on the ground floor. The design is to be modified Gothic.

The contemporary structure is designed to focus attention on the sermon as the most important part of the service. Exterior and interior materials are predominantly exposed brick and wood.
