Rich and Personal Warmth - Oriental rugs, embroideries, rich fabrics and art personalize the home of Mrs. B. Raymond Hoobler. Decorated in pastels, the house was designed with an emphasis on convenience -- an abundance of storage space was planned throughout it. Mrs. Hoobler collects bird figures; one is resting on the coffee table here, in her living room. The hallway leads to the bedrooms and bath. The landscaping by Miss Genevieve Gillette integrates the house and its lot with a spectacular view. A recent addition was a terrace, which was designed by a local firm.

Magee. The elegant banister staircase and antique mirror hint of the home's past, while the Spanish rug, chest and wall hanging tell of its present bright and light appearance. The home is one of eight on the City Club Home Tour.

Kitchen With The Family Touch - There's room for all seven members of the Stuart M. Gould Jr. family at 2030 Hill in their spacious homestyle kitchen. Mr. and Mrs. Gould remodeled the room themselves, adding the barbecue pit with its copper hood (left) and the triangular corner plant window behind the sink (at back left). The ingenious Mrs. Gould keeps any bugs which might thrive on the plants completely under control with two live chameleons which roam about strictly in the corner.
