TREES BEND UNDER SNOWY BURDEN: This morning's snowfall brought hazard and inconvenience in the form of slippery streets and sloppy going underfoot. But it also produced scenes of striking beauty such as this one as trees and shrubs donned a sparkling white mantle and bent gracefully under its weight. This picture was taken in front of the home of Victor H. Lane, jr., 2108 Brockman Blvd.

SNOW REMOVAL - SMALL FRY STYLE: While most youngsters found this morning's damp, clinging snowfall ideal for play purposes, young Tommy French took on the familiar winter chore of sidewalk shoveling. The long-handled ice remover he's using may not be the best tool for the job, but Tommy is having a lot of fun anyway. He is the four-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. French, of 2503 Brockman Blvd. (Other pictures on page 24.)
