THEY SET THE BEAT: University Marching Band drums, usually an important part of the halftime ceremonies at Wolverine football games, will be stilled tomorrow as high school bandsmen take over the intermission entertainment in celebration of Band Day. BAND DAY BONANZA - The bands and the teams played all afternoon Saturday when Slippery Rock and Wayne State clashed on the football field at U-M Stadium amid the color and music of Band Day. WIlliam Revelli and the Michigan Marching Band introduced Revelli's new Wolverine fight song, the fans and cheerleaders cheered, and Wayne State won the game by a slim one-point margin.
