St. Paul's New Parsonage This six-room brick colonial home at 1208 Linwood Ave., at the corner of Wesley St., will be the new home of St. Paul's Lutheran Church pastor, Rev. Carl A. Brauer, and his wife. The congregation has purchased it as the new parsonage and will convert the old parsonage, next to the church, to church school and recreational use.

The students at St. Pauls Lutheran Church decided to donate their own money to be given to Detroit inner city Lutheran School as one of their projects for the year. Accepting a check for his school, Gethsemane in Detroit, is Tony Burt (left) and also a teacher from his school Marge Volger. Giving the $216.67 check is Dan Hammer and Lisa Callies and St. Paul Principal Alvin Richert. Helping Hands Members of Mary Circle of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Ladies Aid have been hard at work this week packing clothing for the World Relief drive. From left are Mrs. Godfrey J. Hoeft, Mrs. Paul A. Zimmerman, Miss Luella Miller and Mrs. Hazen F. Kapp as they toiled in the church gym. Their packages were loaded on box cars today for distribution to the needy around the world. Food and cash donations will also be sent.
