From left are: Mrs. Peter Stamos, Mrs. John Kokinakes, Mrs. Spiros Vandoros, Mrs. Jack Garris, Mrs Ted Chapekis (standing), and Mrs. John Mirageas. Guitarists Pat Hodgson, Alan Blood, Holly Suits, and Jim Frederick will entertain, carols will be sung by the church choir, and the teen-age boys group, Sons of Pericles, will help during the party which will include games and prizes. Santa Claus will visit and refreshments will be served.

"Old St. Nick" was portrayed by Michael Tansky, while 9-year-old Halyna Szewczuk was the "angel," and Doria Chapelsky, 6, the "devil." The celebration of the special day took place Saturday.

Independence Day: A tribute to the heroes of the Greek fight for independence will be given tomorrow by children of the parish schools of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, in observance of the 136th anniversary of Greek Independence Day. In Greek costume, Alex Kales of 2701 Dexter Rd. holds the Greek flag. On the table, decorated with an American and a Greek naval flag, is a picture of Patriarch Gregory V, a key figure and martyr in the struggle.
