Mothers and babies were plentiful at Ypsilanti's Forest Street Baptist Church Saturday for a state-wide meeting of the La Leche League--a world-wide organization which was formed in 1956 to give help and encouragement to women interested in "good mothering through breast-feeding." Among the 125 adults and children at Saturday's conference were (from left) Mrs. Ronald J. Conkey and 6-month-old Maureen, Mrs. Ronald L. Hemmelgarn and 9-month-old Amanda, all Ann Arborites, with Mrs. A. Wayne Morsfield of Ypsilanti.
