They received their 'Oscars' at the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre's annual awards banquet Saturday night in the VFW Hall. Left to right are Hover; best supporting actress Mary Ann Stevenson, honored for her portrayal of Abigail in "The Crucible;" best actor Dr. Robert Green, who played John Proctor in "The Crucible;" best actress Ellen O'Brien, honored for her role as Isabel Haverstick in "Period of Adjustment," and Fred F. Ouellette, whose creation of Ensign Pulver in "Mr. Roberts" won him an 'Oscar' as best supporting actor of the past season. The awards were provided by the Ann Arbor Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Zonta Club.
